*********************************************************************
Thank you for downloading the Green Marinee theme for TXP.
It was originally designed by Ian Main - http://e-lusion.com - for Wordpress 1.5, but it is now available for Textpattern (with Ian's permission).

Please note that this is the first template (or anything else for that matter) that I have released for textpattern, and it is still in a very early stage, so there may be a few errors. Please send any questions through my contact form at http://www.tom.frihost.net/contact/.

The format of the installation will be very similar to Stuart's of "The Bomb Site" since those seemed to be particularly easy to follow.

Let's Begin!
*********************************************************************

I am keeping this installation very simple, because I know that there many people who would just drop it if there were thousands of forms and templates to copy. However, if there is a feature you would like to see, feel free to send me using the contact form and I will see what I can do.

Page Templates
*********************************************************************

The Green Marinee theme requires only one page template becuase it is wide enough to include the sidebar when showing the articles.

Therefore, once you have logged into your Admin area, go to "presentation/pages" and copy the contents of the "default.txt" file in the folder: "pages".

CSS
*********************************************************************

Now go to the "presentation/style" and copy the contents of the CSS.txt file into the default CSS and press save.

Forms
*********************************************************************

There are six text files in the "forms" folder in the format of "Temp_name () type". Temp stands for Template and is used to separate the Template forms for organizational purposes, while the part following the "()" is the form type.

For Example, in the "presentation/forms" page, you would click on "Create New Form" if the title does not already exist. Then. copy the part before the "()" into the "Form Name" box and select the part after the "()" as the form type. Then, copy the contents of the text file into the box and press "Save New".

If the template already exists, such as "comments" overwrite it with the contents of the ".txt" file.

Sections
*********************************************************************

As for the sections, they can be created as needed. They will ALL use the "default" page template.
For example, to create an "About" page, simply ensure that the corresponding section is using the "default" template, and then create a new article in the "content" tab and post it to the newly created "about" section. Assuming you are using clean URL's, your new about page will show up at "yoursite.com/about/".

Images
*********************************************************************

Simply upload the files in the "images" directory into the images directory on your server.

Plugins
*********************************************************************

Go to "admin/plugins", you can either copy the contents of the plugin text files into the top text box, or you can browse to the location of the Green-Marinee plugin folder you downloaded and install each plugin that way.

In both cases, once the plugin is selected, a page with alot of code will show up with and "Install" button. Selcet this button and you will return to the plugin page. Then, click on the word "No" to activate the plugin.

Done
*********************************************************************

That's it, you're done. I tried to simplify these directions as much as possible, but this means that I may have left something out. If so, contact me on the contact form I mentioned above. Also, thaks to Ian for letting me port his gorgeous design, and also to Stuart whose Installation Instructions I tried to copy.
