title: Flexy

Main content:

Flexy is my attempt to give something back to the Textpattern community for all the help, inspiration and of course the great software that never ceases to amaze me. Perhaps because of the influence of Textpattern itself, I have strived for elegant simplicity yet at the same time tried to make a template that functions well and is easily adapted to many needs. Did I get about half-way there perhaps?

Flexy Features

A variety of 2 or 3 column layouts

A variety of preset headline options

2 moods

2 sizes

Easily altered images and colours

Article templates

Accessibility aids

Archives, sitemap and contact page

Credits

Credit is due to everyone on the Textpattern forum whether I've had direct contact or not. I learn so much on there. The place is populated by so many geniuses and wise and witty people that it just does you good to hang out there.Get this layout by putting yesyes in the 'twocol' custom field

More specific thanks go to:
Utter Plush Mary the incredibly hard-working and resilient TXP developer, for the Save New plugin (upm_savenew), for cleaning up the php for the style-switcher and for being so great!
Alex Shiels for the contact form plugin (zem_contact) and of course for all the work on Textpattern which has made it what it is today.
Johan Nilsson for the small plugin (glx_hl_current) that helps a lot with navigation.
Bert Garcia for the templates plugin (hcg_templates) which makes template installation a breeze.

Excerpt:
Thank you to Textpattern - the software, its developers and community. Flexy is standards-compliant and aims to be solid, functional and adaptable. It has many features but I fear it has yet to find the elegant simplicity I was striving for.
